What this is

Manati Alternate Student Funding (Pty) Ltd is a private body under PAIA. Our PAIA Manual, compiled in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000, sets out the records we hold and how you can request access to them. You're welcome to read the short summary below or download the full manual above.

Your right to request records

Under PAIA you may request access to a record we hold where that record is required to exercise or protect a right. Some categories of records are available on request; others are governed by other legislation (such as the Companies Act, National Credit Act and POPIA). The full manual lists these categories.

How to make a request

  1. Complete the prescribed PAIA request form (Form 2), available from the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
  2. Send the completed form to our Information Officer using the contact details below.
  3. Describe the record you're requesting and the right you're seeking to exercise or protect.
  4. A reasonable prescribed fee may be payable before a request is processed, in line with the PAIA regulations.
